Introduction

Students researched global sports culture and healthy lifestyle practices. They translated, compared and created multilingual health guides, fitness campaigns and informative resources. Working alongside partner schools, students exchanged "Fit for Life" guides, compared cultural attitudes towards exercise, and explored the importance of SDG 3 (Good Health & Well-being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education).

🤝 Project Planning & Teachers' Collaboration Meetings

Before commencing the project activities, teachers from both partner schools held a series of virtual planning meetings via Zoom. During these meetings, participants introduced their schools, discussed the project objectives, agreed on timelines and responsibilities, aligned classroom activities with the curriculum, and explored collaborative strategies for promoting healthy living among learners. These sessions strengthened international partnerships and ensured the successful implementation of the project.

Teachers introduced their schools, discussed the Fit for Life project objectives, identified learning outcomes and agreed on the implementation timeline.

Learning Aims

✔ Create fitness routines using clear instructional language.
✔ Produce persuasive brochures and social media campaigns.
✔ Compare nutrition and sports cultures in India, the UK and Nigeria.

Collaboration Agreement

Partnership Agreement between Dowen College Lagos and our International Partner School for the Fit for Life Project.

This agreement outlines the shared objectives, responsibilities, timelines, communication channels and collaborative activities that guided the successful implementation of the "Fit for Life" project between both schools.

Students researched sports and wellness practices from different countries such as Yoga from India, Cycling in the Netherlands and Tchoukball. They also explored inspirational and instructional writing styles.
